Nana, located on the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole Hotel, was selected by Nation’s Restaurant News as a 2009 inductee into its prestigious “Fine Dining Hall of Fame.” Nana, one of only ten restaurants in the country awarded, was the only Dallas restaurant honored with the award this year.

"Executive chef Anthony Bombaci calls his cuisine personal. 'I like to cook what I like to eat,' says the chef, who was raised in Wisconsin and trained at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. He arrived at Nana in 2005 after 10 years at the Enoteca Bombaci in the Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain."

The article also quotes Nana’s general manager, Mark LaRocca,“Our staff is exceptional,” he says. “They’ve been there a long time, a few under 15 years but most from 15 to 25 years.”

Cara Young, Health Club Manager, Verandah Club at the Hilton Anatole demonstrated exercises for "Flat Abs Fast" – Take inches off your middle and feel confident at the pool.

Here's those tips in case you missed the segment:
1. Double Crunch - With one leg crossed over the other to add resistance for the lower abs, do a crunch while also pushing up with the hips to do a reverse crunch. Do 3 sets of 12 repetitions on each side.
2. Bicycle Crunch w/Reach across-With both legs bent at the knees, extend one leg at a time. Instead of aiming the elbow at the opposite knee, reach across the body and past the knee. Alternate each time. Do 3 sets of 12 repetitions in each direction.
3. Side Plank hip lift-Lying on one side, with legs stacked on top of each other, push the hip up, hold for a second, then lower it to briefly touch the floor then repeat. Do 3 sets of 8-12 repetitions on each side.

For dry, winter chapped hands

SUGAR SCRUB AND HONEY WRAP FOR HANDS

½ cup olive oil
½ cup sugar (substitute - brown sugar)
¼ cup honey
Mix olive oil and sugar. Massage over hands for light exfoliation, then rinse. Microwave honey until warmed (not too hot!) and apply to hands. Wrap hands with plastic wrap and relax for 30 minutes.

She has served as the General Manager of Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa in Plano where she was awarded “Assistant General Manager of the Quarter” three times. Spa services are available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Female Models Needed for V Spa Photo Shoot

3 females are needed for a professional photo shoot at the new spa at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. No experience necessary. Various ethnicities and ages welcome (must be 21+). Photography will be used for advertising and editorial use by Hilton Anatole.

Compensation is choice of a) $200 gift certificate at V Spa, or b) one night stay at Hilton Anatole Hotel, or c) $100 gift certificate at Nana restaurant. Redemption date based on availability. Reservations required. We will also provide lunch the day of the shoot.
