Flat Abs Fast

V Spa is proud of its Hilton sibling – Verandah Club – which recently appeared on FOX 4 Good Day twice last month.

Cara Young, Health Club Manager, Verandah Club at the Hilton Anatole demonstrated exercises for "Flat Abs Fast" – Take inches off your middle and feel confident at the pool.

Here's those tips in case you missed the segment:
1. Double Crunch - With one leg crossed over the other to add resistance for the lower abs, do a crunch while also pushing up with the hips to do a reverse crunch. Do 3 sets of 12 repetitions on each side.
2. Bicycle Crunch w/Reach across-With both legs bent at the knees, extend one leg at a time. Instead of aiming the elbow at the opposite knee, reach across the body and past the knee. Alternate each time. Do 3 sets of 12 repetitions in each direction.
3. Side Plank hip lift-Lying on one side, with legs stacked on top of each other, push the hip up, hold for a second, then lower it to briefly touch the floor then repeat. Do 3 sets of 8-12 repetitions on each side.
